I swear, I totally planned to do this post before I even saw Michelle’s version of it today. It will come as no surprise to her that I had the same idea, but for the rest of you, just because I haven’t blogged in a week doesn’t mean I’m suddenly a poser. Who’s got time to be a copy cat this week?

I promise, I have fascinating stories of lousy Internet connections, sharing a bed with a 3-year-old for six nights and returning to the scene of the place that left me with post-traumatic stress disorder as a child. True story.

But no time for all of that yet! There are cookies to bake for Santa and the Blue Devil (yes, E. thinks the Duke Blue Devil is Santa’s best friend and helps deliver presents on Christmas. Poor, poor child), a few final gifts to be wrapped, an Eagles game to watch (thanks Jets for knocking that one off my list) and a lobster and filet Christmas Eve dinner to prepare!

Until I can get around to rescuing my Pennsylvania pictures off my camera, I’ll let the best-looking one of our family wish you very Merry Christmas!!

I hope Santa (or Hanukkah Harry) brings you everything on your list this year! You’ve all been very good to me, and I hope you know I so appreciate every single one of you who humors my kvetching throughout the year. You all keep me sane.

Speaking of complaining, can anyone tell me where I hid E’s traditional Christmas Eve present of pajamas? You’d think I would have thought to keep that one package out when I went on my wrapping spree before my trip, huh? Past Jackie strikes again to mess with me!
